AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY COLLISION REPAIR - PART-TIME FACULTY

Kennedy King College is currently seeking a Part-Time Faculty member to teach Automotive Technology Collision Repair classes for Fall 2017 semester for its growing student population dedicated to a career in the auto industry. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in the classroom by developing and using highly effective teaching strategies that meet studentsí diverse needs and that promote the acquisition and application of

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

         Provides instruction to students enrolled in the Automotive Technology Collision Repair program at the City Colleges of Chicago. 

         Develops class syllabi, appropriate class materials, and curriculum for class instruction.

         Takes attendance and monitors class enrollment.

         Evaluates student progress and extra instruction needs; refers students for tutoring as needed. 

         Administers progress tests to students and assigns grades based on test results.

         Keeps informed of state rules and regulations regarding Automotive Technology and Collision Repair policies.

         Stays informed of the pedagogy of teaching and adjusts teaching methods accordingly.
